Detour for Magic City Connector Route

August 27, 2021

Downtown Birmingham is hosting the Sidewalk Film Festival on today, August 27, 2021 through Sunday which extends from 2nd Avenue North and Linn Park along 20th Street North. Due to this event the Magic City Connector will observe the following detour. All other routes in the downtown area will not be affected.

Southbound   
  • Leaving the Sheraton Hotel, continue on 22nd Street North to 2nd Avenue North   
  • Right on 2nd Avenue North to 20th Street North   
  • Left on 20th Street North and regular route 

Northbound   
  • Right on 3rd Avenue North   
  • Left on Richard Arrington Jr., North   
  • Continue on Richard Arrington, Jr, North to the Sheraton Hotel
